BOOST Help

BOOST provides a number of online tools to help you and your organisation manage and stay up to date with the latest online safety issues, as well as train staff and develop policy. This FAQ covers how to manage your account to give the right people the right access to the resources.

    • Where can I edit my account details?

You can manage your account details from the Account section of the website. Here you can edit your basic account information. Those with manager access will also be able to edit organisational details and manage user access.

    • I need to change my name/email address, where do I do that?

Go to Account > My Account to change your name, email address, or password. You can also edit your Reputation Alerts email preferences here.

    • How do I change my organisation details?

You can edit your organisation name and address in Account > My Organisation.

    • How to I change my avatar image?

Avatars in BOOST are driven from another system called Gravatar. This service enables you to have an avatar that can be used on many websites and blogs across the internet, meaning you can use the same image to identify yourself. Setup a profile on Gravatar to enable your avatar to show up in BOOST.

    • How can I enable access for my staff?

If you have manager access privileges in BOOST, you can manage users in Account > Manage Users. Click the add button (+) to go to the Create User dialogue, where you can enter the details of the staff member.

    • Do I have to create logins for each staff member I wish to train?

For BOOST+ subscribers, you can access the BOOST+ Certification section and send you staff a unique link to access the training content, negating the need to setup individual accounts.
